Set up the iPhone keyboard

1. Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard and choose Saywell.
2. Tap Saywell in that list and turn on Allow Full Access (needed for dictation; typing works without it).
3. In any app, hold the 🌐 key and pick Saywell.

Dictate from the keyboard

The first time you tap the green mic, Saywell opens to switch on the microphone. Tap the ◀ back link in the top-left corner, keep talking, then tap ✓ in the keyboard. For the next while you can dictate without leaving your app. iOS doesn't allow apps to return you automatically, which is why that first trip is needed.

Use Saywell on Mac

1. Open Saywell and allow Microphone and Accessibility (System Settings → Privacy & Security).
2. Hold Left Option, talk, and let go. Tap it once for hands-free; tap again to finish.
3. Change the key or microphone in Saywell → Settings.

Troubleshooting

• Mac records nothing with the lid closed: pick your monitor's or headset's microphone in Saywell → Settings → Microphone.
• Keyboard says “Allow Full Access”: see step 2 of keyboard setup.
• Text isn't being polished: make sure you're signed in under Settings → Account.

Subscriptions

Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone. To restore a purchase on a new device, open Saywell → Settings → Restore Purchases.
